@IDme This is a disaster. I feel horrible for older folks who cannot navigate the onerous steps to access their IRS account. I’ve tried at least eight times to get “verified” and failed each time despite all my information being accurate. I’m completely stuck now.

@IDme your customer service is total crap. It appears that the IRS, uses you people to access their site. Your people don’t even know how to basic troubleshoot a customer issue, or duplicate a simple issue such as going thru in creating an account to understand what’s going on

@VetTix I got a new phone and now my account needs to be verified. If I already have an @IDme account, why am I being asked to provide additional information that I’m not comfortable providing (ie..my passport and or a pic of my license).
