I think you should try it first before you speak on it , I’ve tried it on 3 different controllers and my honest opinion I think it’s not good at all. Most of the time it gets in the way unless it’s close range , in the clips the “shaking” is just an exaggeration of someone having the settings high for the filter . It would only maybe benefit average players or below average but it would maybe be a 1% benefit to their gameplay . People are blowing it completely out of proportion

I didn’t observe any difference in how aim assist behaved between RC Filter -500 and 0 on the Void PS4 FireBird.
This graph shows how the aim moves when the dummy target is stationary, and the stick is tilted by the same physical amount.

The Dualsense Edge produces more jitter than some of the 3rd party controllers ever could.
If jitter is the issue in ALGS, ban Dualsense Edge as well.
Natural jitter produced by joysticks aren’t reproducible in terms of removing recoil like cheating devices.

@GhostlyCairokee I said the exact same thing. Marius is putting out videos to justify why it should be banned without understanding the intricacies to how the filters apply/work in apex. A Japanese anti cheat dev for apex said that his opinion was that it didn’t amount to jitter aim…

@Verhulst Yes but 99% of the players on controller will just be using regular DS4s or DS5 without overclocking. Only 1% will be playing with low input controllers and usually they're already good players to begin with. Nerfing just so that 1% of the player can stop one-clipping...

Aim assist will likely need another nerf with the newest generation of controllers having less input lag and more precise thumbsticks

@SatoshiRSPN Go to BIOS and disable X3D Turbo Mode or something like that. It's designed to help maintain high performance with 9950X3D where there are two chips inside it, one without the 3D V-Cache. If you have a 9800X3D enabling it will hurt performance.

今のところ7800X3D+RTX5070でも確認してて、9700X+RX7900XTXだと発生しないのでX3D限定のバグかなと考えてるんですけど🥲
