Union Health Secretary Smt. Punya Salila Srivastava visited Urban Primary Health Centre (UPHC) Rajaji nagar, and reviewed healthcare service delivery, public health initiatives, and the successful convergence of the Smart City Project with the National Health Mission to strengthen citizen-centric healthcare infrastructure. She also visited the Apex Trauma & Emergency Learning Centre (ATELC), Thiruvananthapuram, Keralam, where she reviewed advanced simulation-based training facilities and emergency preparedness programmes focused on strengthening trauma and critical care capacity in the state. While the current risk to the American public remains low, CDC is working closely with international partners to monitor the situation and help prevent further spread of the disease.
