@jado375 he’s talking about the tafseer of the verse there? He says tahkeem is haram, and that those who rule(يعني يحكمون) by other than it are not kuffar unless they do istihlal. Then writes the verse and its tafseer. Where does he say tahkeem falls into kufr duna kufr💔

@iedpilled Do you not know what tahkim is? Thats not the same as hukm 😭 تحكيم is when you make this law a reference point to rule by, so its in a general sense not necessarily tied to one case although it can be

@jado375 Where does it say that tahkeem is kufr asghar? It just says tahkeem is haram which is true then says those who rule by it with istihlal are kuffar and those who rule by it without istihlal aren’t kuffar. The difference is how me and you understand hukm. And so far neither one of-

@PiousCall @hashimiyy_ Of course brother but even the best of acts can also become shirk under ill intention like رياء in worship. If something isn’t clear we assume the best, maybe under our time a lot of people may misinterpret the words because arabic does have different forms across time

@jado375 Again, I agree here. What I’m asking is specifically about the person who makes a law saying “Zina is permissible” while believing it internally to be haram and his law to be worse than shari’a. Not a person who allows, but that makes that law itself

@iedpilled allowing someone to do zina, meaning allowing the action to take place is not kufr this is a sin , even if you allow this to take place for millions of people, still would be a sin But if by allowing you mean he says or believes that zina is halal then this is kufr

@PiousCall @hashimiyy_ Imam Al Shafi’i has made a poem saying: ونَادَيْتُ في الأحْيَاءِ هَلْ مِنْ مُسَاعِدِ؟ فَلَمْ أَرَ فِيمَا سَاءَنِي غَيْرَ شَامِتٍ Which roughly translates to: I called from among the living “is there any helper?” and i saw no one to help in my misery except those who gloated

@PiousCall @hashimiyy_ I read it, with all due respect I don’t think this is ta’wil, arabs do use من لي سواك as a phrase a lot, so you’d be doing mass takfir on a lot of poets and scholars like imam al shafi’i. As for the lawh al mahfuth part, the prophet ﷺ did receive some knowledge from it, no?
