Technology, Creativity, and the Art of figuring stuff out ✨ Software developer ¶ Technical writer

A writer but you can specialize in: ✅ Technical Proposal Writing (RFPs and RFQs) ✅ Case studies writing ✅ user manual ✅ SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure) ✅ Whitepapers and Technical Reports ✅ Grant Writing What will you add?

I can go do great things only because I’ve got this amazing engine of a community behind me. This is to you all ❤️❤️❤️

When I started my technical writing journey, it was @AdesinaAbdurah1 that I reached out to for guidance. I still remember everything he said to date. His recommendation on my LinkedIn profile gave me a lot of traction than I could have ever paid for. This is why I'm openly suggesting that @omoalhajaabiola and @skill_afrika_ should organize a Technical Writing Cohort too. I know a lot of seasoned technical writers and documentation engineers who will be willing to collaborate on the training program. I personally have benefited a lot from communities and pace-setters like @AdesinaAbdurah1 and @omoalhajaabiola via direct tutelage or access to resources. The best thing about technical writing is its multidisciplinary relevance. Even if you're not pursuing it as your primary career, the knowledge will benefit you in every field you find yourself in. I've seen software engineers, product designers, and even people in the legal field transition into or leverage technical writing in their areas of expertise. Dear @skill_afrika_ and @omoalhajaabiola; AI Automation freelancers have eaten enough for now; let us put more freelancers on the technical writing trajectory in H2 2026 and equip them with the industry-ready skillset needed to land competitive gigs and transform their careers. I'm available to provide hands-on support and liaise with relevant communities to see this proposed project through if my request is favorably considered. Thanks in anticipation. God bless you. P.S My pitch is still weak, maybe this is because I'm yet to take @omoalhajaabiola's cold mailing course.

8. CONTRA This one is completely underrated. Contra is a freelance platform for writers, designers, developers, and marketers. It charges zero commission, so you keep every dollar you earn. Open to all

Words are the easiest thing to fake, but you see body language, facial expressions, tone; they're pretty hard to control. Pay attention to those. The next time someone gives you a response, ignore their words for a minute. Focus on every other thing.
