An Indian tourist has alleged racist treatment in Vietnam. In a viral video, the tourist claims a store employee ignored him, refused to show prices or bill his groceries, while continuing to serve white customers normally. The issue was later resolved through conversation and translation, but the incident has again triggered discussion about stereotypes and discriminatory behaviour Indians often face while travelling internationally. Indians should never hesitate to call out disrespect or unequal treatment anywhere in the world.

Meet Nikhil Inamdar of BBC once again pushing selective framing dressed up as “global analysis.” This time the headline says Indian billionaires are buying foreign companies because “growth slows at home.” That narrative is not just misleading it completely ignores India’s actual economic data. 🇮🇳 Reality check👇 🇮🇳India remains the world’s fastest-growing major economy with projected GDP growth of 7.4–7.6% in FY2025-26. - Private sector capex surged 67% to ₹7.7 lakh crore. - RBI data shows corporate asset acquisition plans crossing ₹11.43 lakh crore. - Consumer spending hit its highest share of GDP in over a decade. - FDI inflows rose to $81 billion. Meanwhile global giants are doubling down on India: 🇮🇳 - Apple now assembles $22B+ iPhones annually in India - Microsoft pledged $17.5B, Amazon $35B, & Google $15B - Samsung runs one of the world’s largest phone factories in India Indian companies acquiring global firms is not “capital flight.” It is what strong economies do. Sun Pharma buying Organon, Tata Motors acquiring Iveco, Coforge expanding into AI these are strategic global expansion moves for technology, scale and supply chains. BBC wants readers to think Indian corporates are “escaping India,” while global investors are pouring billions into the country at the same time. Even India’s pharma exports hit $2.66 billion in April 2026 alone, with the sector generating a $21.5B forex surplus and supplying regulated markets like the US & Europe. This kind of lazy framing by legacy Western media creates unnecessary panic narratives around India’s economy and investment climate. Follow the thread below for more 👇

A day after an Indian journalist raised anti-Indian racism in the US, Marco Rubio was confronted again in Delhi. Rubio dismissed it as “people saying stupid stuff online,” while insisting Trump “loves India.”

Indian journalist directly raises the issue of growing racism against Indians in the US during Marco Rubio's press interaction. 🇮🇳🇺🇸 Rubio responds: "Every country in the world has stupid people." For years anti-Indian hate online and offline was brushed aside as "just jokes." Now it is being openly questioned at diplomatic briefings itself.

From Delhi's rush to Uttarakhand's mountains, India's Namo Bharat is redefining regional travel. 🇮🇳🚆 India's first semi high-speed RRTS system runs at up to 160 km/h, cutting travel time, reducing highway congestion and connecting cities with modern, high frequency transit built under Make in India. And it may soon extend beyond Meerut to Haridwar & Rishikesh, potentially bringing Delhi to the Himalayas in nearly 3 hours. This is not just a train network. This is the future of connected India.

Pakistan exposed yet again. The funeral of Al-Badr commander Hamza Burhan linked to the Pulwama terrorist attack reportedly turned into a gathering of most wanted terrorists, including Hizbul chief Syed Salahuddin and other leaders tied to Lashkar-e-Taiba & Jaish-e-Mohammed. Heavy armed security, AK-47s, terror commanders openly attending near Islamabad, Pakistan. This is exactly why India says terrorism in Pakistan is not “non-state.” It is deeply protected and embedded.

New York City flooded again. Subways underwater, roads submerged, commuters nearly swept away, drivers stranded on car roofs and locals say they’ve been facing this for decades. 🇺🇸 Even NYC Mayor admitted the drainage system cannot handle rainfall properly. Funny how Western media lectures the world on “urban planning” while one storm turns America’s biggest city into chaos.

The new House Resolution specifically condemns Trump’s “hellhole” remark targeting India and also warns about rising hate against Indian-Americans online. The resolution cites documented increases in anti-Indian hate messages across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook & X. For years many dismissed anti-India racism online as “just memes.”

A resolution by 8 US Representatives bought in condemning Donald Trump for his racist remarks against Indian Americans. Indian American families have the highest household income among all races in US, have the lowest crime rate and highest literacy levels No wonder they continue to be soft target for racists from across the spectrum.

Panic and fear now visible even inside Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry briefings. A Pakistani journalist openly admitted their Indus Waters Treaty case is “stuck,” warned of future water shortages and floods, and asked: “Do we have any levers with India?” 🇮🇳 After the Pahalgam terror attack, India suspended the Indus Waters Treaty citing Pakistan-backed terrorism. PM Modi made India’s position crystal clear: “Water and blood cannot flow together.”

A New Chapter with India, says the US today 🇮🇳🇺🇸 But Indians should also remember what happened just months after the Pahalgam terror attack carried out by Pakistan-backed terrorists. While India was responding to terrorism, Trump repeatedly pushed false claims that he “Stopped” an India-Pakistan war through trade pressure claims officially rejected by India. At the same time, Washington continued engaging Pakistan strategically, approving F-16 sustainment packages and maintaining deep military links built over decades. From “Major Non-NATO Ally Pakistan” to suddenly celebrating a “New Chapter” with India, US geopolitics has always been transactional first. Reality hits hard: America spent decades funding Pakistan’s military establishment, reimbursing billions through Coalition Support Funds, erasing debt after 9/11 and backing Islamabad as a frontline strategic partner. India-US ties are important and growing, but Indians should never forget how quickly global powers rebalance when it suits their interests.
