Born a Catholic, my first fierce battle was against my protestant friends when I was roughly 9 years old. Nothing I told them mattered to them. They were raised to hate the Catholic church. I almost cried while defending the church, Jesus and Mary. Fast forward to the future, I grew up loving the Catholic church, but attended protestant churches to see what they're doing there. Every time I visited a new protestant church, I found one new reason why I should not be there. The noise, the lack of decorum, noisy prayers, and they were just all over the place and lacked organisation. I still visit protestant churches today if my friends, who invited me, have very important personal events like child dedication. But before I attend, I must attend mass first. This has been my practice for years.

As someone who watched a sneak preview of the Children of Blood and Bone movie few thoughts… VFX is mindblowing good! Cast is stacked as expected and costume and set design is delicious 🥺😋 Ayra looked good asf and TEMS on the sound track gave me chills! Accents are 6/10 if we’re looking at proper Nigerian accents but for a Hollywood adaptation this is expected. Annoying but expected. Overall it’s going to be BIG and it deserves to be BIG! Black female director, black female writer, African fantasy, set and filmed on the continent and distributed by a major AMERICAN company! 🔥🔥
