@CatShoshanna The man saying ‘Shema’ at the end right before he dies, truly remarkable. He sits down for a second to recite ‘Shema’ and then he collapses. The bond between the Jewish people and God is what makes my nation eternal.

I’ve never seen this footage before, and honestly it’s absolutely heartbreaking. You see a man and woman (mother?) desperately trying to grab the children out of the car and run to hide in separate areas as palestinian terrorists drive past. Even the family’s little dog can be seen jumping out of the vehicle in the chaos. It appears the man (father?) may have been shot by the palestinians in the pickup truck as they drove by him, and then you just see the little girl he was running with wandering around alone while the man is still on the ground. Does anyone know who this family is or what happened to them afterward?

@GabeZZOZZ I feel pretty good. This isn't the first time the world has hated us. My grandfather fled Russia because the Cossacks persecuted and killed Jews. My wife's grandfather survived the death camps in Europe. But unlike them, I have somewhere to stand my ground.

@clashreport Yes, the situation is terrible for arabs in Israel, they can't even ride the train!... Come on! I actually live here! My wife works at the hospital in Jerusalem, everyday she cares for Palestinian patients, stop spreading lies.

American Journalist Abby Martin on her visit to Israel: The whole world has to isolate this rogue… state. Shame anyone who goes there. You cannot expect change in a society this far gone. We’re seeing essentially the fourth Reich today marching forward.

@iguinerman @masuzafi Okay, and "from the river to the sea, PALESTINE WILL BE FREE" has been explicitly clarified as referring to the freedom of the Palestinian people. Now fuck off. Also Israel's borders can go straight to hell. They don't have a right to the stolen land.

Mehdi Hasan just demolished the sacred “Israel has a right to exist” argument. He exposed it for exactly what it is: classic Israeli propaganda designed to shut down all criticism and dodge accountability. No state has a divine “right to exist.” Nations exist through power, history, and recognition not magical immunity from scrutiny. Stuck in that bullshit debate? Mehdi drops three killer counter-arguments that flip the script every single time.

This exchange is the entire conflict in two minutes - An Israeli woman worries about her son and his dog in a safe room during Hamas rocket attacks. Randa Abdelfattah responds that Gazans have no safe rooms, no escape from Israel's 14-year blockade, and no protection from US-funded Israeli weapons

@delapilap @masuzafi “Death to America” has been explicitly clarified even by Khamenei as referring to US policies and leadership, not to the country’s borders or its people. And notably, the chant is often followed by “Death to Israel” as well

@iguinerman @masuzafi "death to America" is an extraordinarily common slogan, and yet no one has ever even considered mentioning America's right to exist, because it's a fucking moronic concept, and no one would ever dare bring up something so stupid except a Zionist.

A guy from the UK is telling me that no other state in modern history has moved into another people's land. 🤣 This is coming from someone whose country built the largest empire in human history by doing exactly that. The British Empire colonized India, subjected it to centuries of exploitation, and engineered famines that killed millions. They carved up africa at the Berlin conference, drawing arbitrary borders with no regard for the people already living there. They colonized Australia and displaced aboriginal peoples who had inhabited the land. They settled in New Zealand, overriding the indigenous Maori. They took control of vast parts of North America, displacing countless Native nations. They occupied Ireland for centuries, suppressing its language, culture, and people. Ironically, they also drew the borders of the modern Middle East, including the borders of Israel and its neighbors often with little input from those who actually lived there. And yet, the irony deepens, since jews are indigenous to Israel. The connection between the jewish people and the land of Israel is documented across thousands of years of history, archaeology, religious texts, and continuous presence. Jewish communities maintained ties to the land even through centuries of exile and dispersion. The modern state of Israel represents a return to an ancestral homeland, not a colonial project imposed from abroad. So when someone from the UK, of all places, lectures about moving into "another people's land," the lack of self awareness is truly something to behold.

@iguinerman @masuzafi Your take from this is a fucking verse. No other state has moved into another people's land in modern history with a view to steal from them and murder them for resisting. Why are you so stupid?

@iguinerman @masuzafi Hi, American here. Lots of people call for the destruction of my country, every day, sometimes from within. Israel is not unique in that way. It is in others. Ethno-nationalism is a tough row to hoe.

@DavidBCollum Jews who were murdered on gas chambers were innocent, this is a death penalty for TERRORISM, it’s super simple, don’t be a terrorist, don’t get killed, see the difference? It’s pretty obvious

Actually, the PA has had a law for decades classifying the sale of land to Jews as treason, punishable by death. That law explicitly refers to ethnicity. By contrast, the new Israeli law doesn’t mention Palestinians at all, but of course you know they are the terrorists so you think it’s ethnicity-based.

@iguinerman @cem_uk_ Thanks. I think the context specifically is the occupation of Palestinian territories by Israel. If the threat was against terrorist activities, the law could very well have been directed against terrorists rather than targeting a specific nationality. No?

Imagine if a country announced it was introducing the death penalty, but only for Jews. Imagine the global outcry. But apparently it's fine to introduce the death penalty only for Palestinians...

It doesn’t justify it, but at least it shows that the PA specifically has death sentences for political/religious reasons (selling to a jew, not even a crime) and no one bats an eye, but if Israel wants to pass a law to have some deterrence to stop terrorists murdering civilians for decades, everyone starts overreacting

@iguinerman @cem_uk_ This is an insight i didn't know. Seemingly originating from 1960 Jordanian law still in force. Still, how does this law justify the new Israeli law which has been passed?

@johncusack Right, the issue is though that some individuals labeled as “journalists” have documented ties to Hamas, but acknowledging that undermines your cheap propaganda.
