A great relief. But w/o any solution. Ladakh’s demands for #SixthSchedule & #Statehood remain unresolved. Will future talks finally deliver? Or will Ladakhis still have to ask if they will be granted the same democratic rights as the rest of the #citizens of #India?

Last night at the House of Lords, The Commonwealth Media Freedom Trust, presented RPT's Patron Lord Black with the Astor Award 2025, recognising his outstanding and longstanding commitment to media freedom in the UK and across the Commonwealth. Lord Black said, “the battle for press freedom is never won, it takes constant effort, strong partnerships and real resolve."
