昨年報告があった韓国の林堂洞・造永洞古墳群出土の78個体のゲノムデータが一般公開され、論文未記載のY-SNPまで追えるようになりました。父系は母系に比べ多様性が低く、弥生系でお馴染みのO1b2a1a1が最多。 日本人の起源をより高い解像度で捉えるためにも、半島側のデータ蓄積には今後も期待したい

縄文人のミトコンドリアDNA解析で、草創期から早期にかけての人口急増を明らかにしたAnthropol. Sci.誌の論文。これまで北と南の別ルートから来たと考えられていたN9bとM7aの分布の偏りも、実は単一集団からの遺伝的浮動で説明がつくとのこと。従来の定説を再考させる面白い視点の研究です。
