Love this jersey chairman was wearing! The caption is even more apt! Truth is, @SportingLagos and @InterLagosFC are very connected and this journey has been extra worthwhile because of the brotherhood we share. Lanre Vigo (Inter GM) was with us as a close ally from day 1 at Sporting, and even when Inter was starting, he and the gang were never far away as we made sure they don’t make some early mistakes we did. Some of the co-founders at Inter are tech boys, people I’ve worked with for years. People Shola has mentored directly and indirectly, People we break bread with in our other careers. Local Football has brought us together, and we’re truly grateful to be sharing this moment with our brothers. Promotion to the NPFL 🚀. Truly can’t wait for next season. Along with @IkoroduCityFC who are our brothers too! And I hope this also encourages folks who have been looking at investing in Nigerian football, and are not sure… one thing I will say is, despite whatever you’ve heard, there are so many people willing to give you a genuine hand to get started, and to grow the football ecosystem. PS: About losing 0-1 yesterday, sometimes you let your lil bros win a game to encourage them after you’ve won the competition 😀. Lagos to the world!
