A visit to the @nsgblackcats Training Centre, NSG Museum and National Bomb Data Centre offered a glimpse into their rich legacy & unwavering commitment. There, OTs also witnessed live demos of rescue opns and VIP security - reflecting their motto “Sarvatra Sarvottam Suraksha.”

An insightful visit to HQ @nsgblackcats on 3rd day of MHA attachment. DG NSG Shri Bhrigu Srinivasan in his candid interaction with the OTs highlighted the life lessons required for public service while DIG (Adm) Shri Hari Prasath S briefed about their structure and mandate.

Interacted with Indian Information Service (IIS) Officer Trainees of 2009, 2024 & 2025 batches today. Strong communication is the backbone of good governance. Under the leadership of Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi ji, this has become a national priority. • In today’s information age, IIS officers are the vital link between government and citizens. • Emphasised taking communication to the last mile, ensuring no citizen is left uninformed. • Hub-and-spoke model must strengthen how policies and schemes reach the grassroots. All set for the world’s largest enumeration- @CensusIndia2027 In an interaction with OTs, Registrar General & Census Commissioner of India, Shri #MritunjayKumarNarayan addressed key aspects - the timeline, challenges & the new features - 1st #digitalcensus & #selfenumeration.

“Every village @ the border is the 1st village in the country" Secy (BM), MHA, Dr. Rajendra Kumar laid down the importance of #bordermanagement and the Vibrant Village Programme in an interactive session. Key challenges and strategic solutions in BM were also discussed.

ADG (M&C), @PIBHomeAffairs, Shri Raj Kumar delivered an insightful session on “Role of IIS Officers in Media Management & Crisis Communication.” He briefed OTs on various divisions under MHA and how the media wing is seamlessly coordinating with them for effective communication.

An engaging session with former PDG, PIB, Shri Sitanshu Kar, on “Crisis Communication – When Silence is Not an Option.” Through real-life cases, he highlighted the golden hour, empathetic yet factual messaging, and the fine balance between speaking out and strategic silence.

An insightful session with Former Principal Director General, Akashvani, Dr. Vasudha Gupta, on “Health Communication in the Post-COVID World". Drawing on her experience as DG (Media), MHA during #COVID-19, she highlighted the role of timely and credible communication amid crises.

The new Pickleball-cum-Badminton court was inaugurated today by Vice Chancellor Dr. Pragya Paliwal Gaur & ADG Shri L. Madhu Nag. This facility marks a proactive step toward fostering health and wellness among the IIMC community. @IIMC_India #sports
