Prof. Krishna Moorthy Sivalingam has been selected as an Institute Chair Professor at IIT Madras.

The Indian Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA) Techno Visionary Award for the year 2018 was presented to Prof. V. Kamakoti during the Vision Summit held on February 19, 2019, at Bengaluru in acknowledgment of his path-breaking contributions to the field.
