@robertoblake Exact same thing happened to me this year mortgage went up 300 dollars on top of everything else..

Paid off my car only to have the escrow on my mortgage go up because of reassessed property value for taxes. So basically I get a $500/month cost of living increase, because my wealth on paper that I can’t actualized without selling went up… This is one of the scenarios where people hate property taxes with a passion and where it actually hurts middle class people the most.
