football twitter is hilarious because something that coaches would absolutely love kids to see (declan rice constantly scanning) are turned into memes of him being performative

@jia_seed i think as humans building things we actually don’t know what other people want/need as much as we think we do. like, pause and think about all of the software you used today - *all* of it. wikigacha went viral a few weeks ago and i would imagine that was a side project.

i've noticed another interesting disparity which is that some ppl launch arbitrary stuff with minimal effort in one day and it goes viral / becomes successful sometimes, while others work years and years on a perfectly polished thing that doesn't end up with explosive traction. how does this happen?

"yeah i want to but i don't have time" u actually do have time to learn the stuff u want to learn and do the stuff u want to do a lot of skills just compound while taking 1% of your time each day. a tweet takes 30 seconds of a 24 hr day it takes 20 min to do a dozen chin-ups simply showing up is important. if you're reading this tweet right now and you're worried about tweeting you should probably go do it!

@chadtownsend10 As lead assistant coach u have a pretty big say at the table - then usually own the attack or defence. How is he the future solution and not looked at as part of the current problem? You said ask NSW players, that’s obviously far different to coaching club and club players

Dean Young is the right choice for the Dragons. You can ask any player that he’s coached what he’s like. - Ask Laurie Daley who took him into NSW camp last year. - Ask the NSW players - Ask any NRL player he’s been involved with He is a head coach in waiting 100% #NRL

At some point, usually in your 20s, you'll notice that the people around you stop believing in themselves. And no matter how hard you try, you can't save them. By all means, do not let it infect your mind. Stay on your path.

@gavin_laing Former official here - the issue was he went to hand the card to his own trainer. Every player knows and has been briefed on the fact they’re supposed to give them to the interchange official.

It’s called **preferred stock.** JP Morgan has one. Ford has one. Every major corporation issues them. STRC pays 11.5% annually, monthly in cash, trades near $100 par. That's the instrument.[1] Now here's what you're actually missing: MSTR doesn't just hold Bitcoin — it **accretes Bitcoin per share.** Every preferred issuance raises capital → buys more BTC → increases Bitcoin per share for common holders. BTC yield hit **26% in 2025.** That means shareholders got more Bitcoin per share even as new shares were issued. Now add the macro thesis: AI agents — tested across 9,000+ scenarios — independently choose Bitcoin as their store of value. Physical AI + agentic systems are being built right now. Every one of them needs a credibly neutral, immutable monetary rail.[3] That's Bitcoin. And MSTR is the **largest corporate vehicle to that outcome.** Are there risks? Yes. Management execution. Premium compression. Dividend obligations. Those are real and worth debating. But it seems that you haven't studied the structure If Bitcoin wins — and AI is making that more inevitable by the day — MSTR is the most leveraged, accretive way to hold that exposure.*m Come with a real bear case or stay on the sidelines. 🟠

@straceX would the actual approach to be to run a virtual waiting room after the click that acts as a counter? and the handling of that would take place after buy but it wouldn’t trigger anything in the database either because it’s abstracted from that process

Interviewer: There is exactly ONE concert ticket left. 10,000 fans click 'Buy' at the exact same millisecond. How do you guarantee only one person gets it without crashing the database?
