This is why Pro Bono services are important. Such a victim is entitled to seek legal redress and compensation. When these matters are addressed in the courts of law and culprits are punished, it serves as deterrent to many people. You can’t assault someone on suspicion basis.

You seem to have discovered two new words, "lie" and "mercenary". I can see you curling them around your tongue with relish. I would be honest with you. Only your partisan fans are moved by such distractions, however. Any one who can read knows exactly what I said so forget the theatrics, Minister. 4. I know you like to perform. But I am going to force you back to the policy table. You are not getting off so lightly on the issues. 5. You are banking on people not knowing how the public service works to try and evade accountability. In Ghana, ministers pressure agencies and spending officers to enter into arrangements that benefit their private allies ALL THE TIME. Very often, they do so in ways that allow them "plausible deniability". I have spent two decades unravelling this practice. I don't fall for cute deflects. 6. So, trying to play clever by making this about me producing a document with your signature on it and titled "big contract" is just performance for your partisan followers. I don't have a fanbase like that to cheer me on. What I do have are thousands of very discerning citizens who can read between the lines. They may not shout on Twitter/X but they act quietly in other ways. 7. Let us go back to the problem at hand. Ghana has had multiple mass SIM card registrations that mysteriously never delivers a functional database. Why? Because often the whole process is rushed, poorly planned, and poorly defined. You yourself agree wholeheartedly with this, correct? 8. Our goal this time around is to ROBUSTLY PREVENT YOU FROM WASTING THE PEOPLE'S TIME AND RESOURCES with another badly planned, poorly defined, and rushed mess. 9. Last time we look closely to try and find out why these SIM card re-registration processes seem to lead to a mess (a mess you don't deny), we found that sole-sourced procurement was a factor. A contractor without experience was inserted into the process leading to a system that you now claim is a mess, hence the need to redo it. 10. This time we intend to PREVENT the mess, or any excuse for a mess, before it even happens. 11. I got a message that you have authorised that a contract be given to Transactly in connection with the re-registration. As you yourself have admitted, you have no window for engagement with activists. Hence, the most efficient way was for me to ask for confirmation on Twitter/X. 12. You quickly recast the whole thing into a strawman that you think you can deflect knowing very well that there are various agencies that could, in the end, enter into such contracts. Agencies like the NCA, the NIA, and even NITA. All of which you have very strong influence over. 13. I asked you for the solution architecture and any associated procurement plan, because those are the two documents that will TRULY debunk any hint of procurement-motivation. As for the contracts, they can be handled by any agency within the architecture. 14. Us knowing how the solution you intend to launch within 3 months has been designed to ensure that the problems you claim bedevil the current database won't recur would also show WHICH ACTORS will do what. I know you know exactly where I am going with this. You can put on a display of being angry with me for being "accusatory" when in fact we are pushing accountability in a scenario that HAS HAPPENED IN THE PAST. 15. But for the benefit of some of your fans who don't read, this is what our motive: WE AIM TO ENSURE THAT NO INEXPERIENCED COMPANIES ARE INSERTED INTO THE ARCHITECTURE TO DO WHATEVER. It doesn't matter who in the government gives them the contract based on your push or someone else's push. 16. You have refused repeatedly to stay on the issues and lay out the solution architecture and the role of contractors, including the one whose name was leaked to us. We aim to pursue you with RTIs to get to the bottom of the situation and update the public. That's all. 17. We also want to peruse the architecture to spot bottlenecks that will inconvenience citizens and cause the crazy confusions and distress that happened in previous rounds of these messy re-registration episodes. And lastly, we want to evaluate HOW EXACTLY your new approach will STOP FRAUD and improve on what we already have. 18. Feel free to put on another performance, Minister. And savor your newfound words if you must. But name-calling isn't providing policy accountability. Stay on the facts. 19. One of the rules states that all students must be present at all social gatherings. 3. Church services (Mass, morning devotion, etc.) are considered part of the school’s social gatherings. 4. All students, irrespective of their religion, are required to attend these functions. 5. I want to know, from a legal perspective, whether there is a problem with this.
