I know, I know, I'm biased. I run a Digimon-centric wiki, after all. But even with that in mind, what Digimon Story Time Stranger achieved this year was nothing short of phenomenal. For the first time in ages, it genuinely felt like Digimon was breaking back into the mainstream. Major outlets were talking about it, social media was buzzing, and according to my best friend, a teacher, even kids at school were chatting about Digimon. DIGIMON!!!! You know when that last happened?! When I was in school! Frontier aired... That's over 20 years ago! The game launched in a remarkably polished state, won people over with its demo, and sealed the deal with the full release. Suddenly, everyone was discovering Beelstarmon, Venusmon, and all the other iconic gurls our beloved fandom treasures, and the art community absolutely exploded with inspiration. And not only inspiration, mind you! 😏 We also peaked at over 84.000 concurrent players on Steam alone! Not counting all the other platforms it released on... Tell me honestly: if that isn't at least nomination-worthy, what is? Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and Kingdom Come: Deliverance II? Sure. Absolutely deserving contenders. But the others? Really? Do better, Game Awards. Because we all know you can. #Digimon #TimeStranger #デジモン

No GenAI, no upscaling. We're running an experiment on select YouTube Shorts that uses traditional machine learning technology to unblur, denoise, and improve clarity in videos during processing (similar to what a modern smartphone does when you record a video) YouTube is always working on ways to provide the best video quality and experience possible, and will continue to take creator and viewer feedback into consideration as we iterate and improve on these features
