Social media users are in shock following the heartbreaking death of young Senegalese goalkeeper Cheikh Touré, who was found dead in Ghana, as confirmed by a statement from Senegal’s Ministry of African Integration and Foreign Affairs. Authorities have revealed that the talented footballer was deceived by fraudsters pretending to be football scouts, who convinced him that he had been invited to Ghana for a professional trial with a top club. Upon his arrival, the scammers kidnapped the young goalkeeper and demanded a ransom from his family. Despite their desperate attempts to meet the ransom demands, Cheikh's relatives were unable to pay. Tragically, the kidnappers ultimately took his life.
