@tomkunaguero was more than 50, there were 33 blocks with tickets for sale when I checked, and will have been a few hundred over the course of the day. more the point it's been fully sold out for ages until that result
Villa going from sold out yesterday daytime to this is sad
When the Club's ticketing strategy over years has resulted in excluding diehards and not nurturing the next generation of local Blues, don't be surprised that you get fairweather fans who won't turn up no matter what
@mcfc_lads Just so fucking boring. So tired of Puma. And wait for the ugliest 3rd kit of mankind to be dropped as well and used every other game for sponsor reasons.
@City_Xtra It means he’s leaving but he won’t announce it to the media first. His first focus is, as always, on the next game. When the season is over he will confirm.
Pep Guardiola's message to #ManCity fans tonight: "LET ME TALK WITH MY CHAIRMAN! I know they love me so much, I love you more! I know that!
"It's the best place to be, I love this place. I adore it!
"So let me talk about my club, right? Even if the people say I've talked with a thousand million people and persons... I was just incredibly, incredibly focussed on my job, and when we are in competitions I'm there, I was there and this is what I have to do..."
@mfc_mrpage Nothing went wrong, new players still adapting and they fought for thr league till the end.
Won two domestic cups in the end. Thats a good season if you ask me.
@WeareManC1ty@ItsYanCity They split in 2025 after 30+ years together. After years of living apart due to their respective careers, with Pep based in Manchester and Cristina living in Barcelona. Tensions reportedly arose when Pep decided to extend his contract rather than relocating as previously planned.
This is when we lost the league - not last night. “Sloppy Jan” onwards & upwards. Many of us would have been in dreamland finishing 2nd & winning the cup double. Looking forward to Sunday now when we can give some genuine legends a great send off. 🩵
Our tv just gone off 🫣🙄☹️
Not the channel, the actual tv.
Just won't do anything. Won't switch off, change channel... anyt about 6 years old so prob time for an update.
Luckily we have our tv system on my tablet too, so we're still suffering along with y'all! 😃
@johndunnemcfc@icoll48 Have to say he got me thinking about that when he said “A lot a lot of problems I have had, incredible, incredible circumstances” Hope it’s nothing serious.
I just find it interesting that Pep has a year to go on his contract, never broken a contract previously so if so why is he leaving a year early.
Seems a strange one to me.
@icoll48 Quite possible the 2 year extension was so there would not be a distraction of him leaving after 10 years. Maybe that’s what he had already agreed with Khaldoon.
@Brad__AFC@mufcytp The point he is making is that it was nowhere near as clear as the Bournemouth offside which they didn’t flag until later.
For the Haaland one the ref blew the whistle almost before the linesman flagged.
Erling Haaland was through on goal, one-on-one with the keeper, when the assistant referee raised his flag and referee Anthony Taylor blew the whistle.
Replay shows Haaland may have been onside, or at least it was very tight. In such situations, officials are instructed to keep the flag down until the phase of play is over.
It looks very odd, especially considering this could have been an equaliser for City with the title race on the line.
@SmartKid0808@City_Xtra That’s not what he said. typical Pep, focus on the next game don’t get ahead of yourself. The first people he will tell wil be chairman, players and staff.
@City_Chief Tbh, kovacic coming on in the cup final swung the game (with Cherki too obv. ). Probably should have taken Rodri off. He was off the pace tonight. Don’t think he is match fit yet.
