Diplomacy is not an unchartered territory to which somebody can destructively impose the extremes of his personal charachter or of experiences gained elsewhere. The norms of diplomacy do change over time, but following tectonic societal and economic shifts, not on one's whim.

Nobody has the right to destroy a civilization or the civilization. Nobody has the right even to threaten to do so. Leader of the greatest Republic in the world should not talk and act as if he is caught in trap between clerical regimes despising each other.

To end the war, Trump would agree with Iranians on a quick, half-theatrical US ground invasion resulting in capture of their enriched uranium. BUT, such a deal may well form a trap for the US troops, if the true goal of Tehran is to unseat Trump's party from Congress in November.

Von wegen AfD Verräter und so ..... Der ehemalige CDU-Bundestagsabgeordnete Axel Fischer muss sich seit Januar wegen Bestechungsvorwürfen vor Gericht verantworten. Fischer, so der Vorwurf, soll Reden im Interesse von Aserbaidschan gehalten und dafür Geld kassiert haben. Weil Fischer zuletzt jedoch wiederholt nicht vor Gericht erschien, hat das Oberlandesgericht (OLG) München nun Haftbefehl gegen ihn erlassen.

Breaking News: Im #Aserbaidschanprozess gegen Ex-MdB Axel Fischer (CDU) zieht das Gericht endgültig die Notbremse. Er wurde heute früh aufgrund eines Haftbefehl festgenommen und wird zur Verhandlung gebracht. Drohende Verjährung soll so verhindert werden. @transparency_de
