FDD has well-documented ties to Israel and has actively lobbied in Washington for policies aimed at isolating Turkey. But even if one sets aside FDD’s organic ties to Israel, this article is as reckless and irresponsible as it is inaccurate. It is inaccurate because it ignores Turkey’s military contributions to NATO and its support for Ukraine during the recent war. No researcher should omit these points when writing on this topic. It is reckless because, at a moment when Iran has been attacked by the US and Israel without clear justification or provocation, drawing a false equivalence between Iran and Turkey risks normalizing the idea of similar action against Turkey. This is factually, politically, and morally wrong. The authors should know better, especially at such a volatile time.

@ilginece @turkishcy So why do you talk about Turkish casualties during our war of independence? The Lausanne treaty does not refer to casualties only damages. What I point out is what happened to Christians in turkey AFTER 1922. Not during war and to the citizens of your country.

Stil yüzmeyi biliyorum çünkü 7 yaşında zeytinburnunda belediyenin komplekslerinde ucuza yüzme kursu vardı. 1+1 köhne bi evde yaşıyoduk ama yüzme kursu ulaşılabilirdi. Halk günü oluyodu, herkes için ücretsizdi. Bunun artık belli bir sınıfa ait görülmesi haksız değil ama çok üzücü
