Kylan was a great story and I’ll always have love for him but he was made to be the 5th or 6th most important player on a championship team and not the 3rd or 4th and there is a big distinction there

@Noles_Illini For sure but that’s the nature of the beast, I think it cannot be understand how much having a program that has a coach who can coach guys on shooting in final four stadiums is understated. So many misses felt like a lack of adjustment for depth perception

@illinihours I mean they did but we played really poorly and still were right there. I wish we’d lost playing well to a better team. We were better and played very poorly

I’m not even mad, they outplayed us. What a run man I love this team, thank you Keaton thank you everyone for such a special season. We will be back and hopefully even better

Obviously QC + likely other transfer scoring guard still alleviates that but you still want the guy who should ideally be your main star to be dynamic with the ball on the perimeter and in addition to the post, bring ivisic brothers back, star transfer guard and we’re good

Top of the to do list has to be getting Mirk into better shape and more comfortable with the ball in his hands, have to be comfortable against pressure when you wont have the ability to be a Keaton safety valve handler anymore

I just don’t know what you do when things like that andrej layup rimming out and that bounce on the ball three happen in sequence

What a bad scout, nothing else to say just play like it matters in the second half

If Kylan is gonna speed it up and do that you have to make the layup

Don’t think anyone on our team besides maybe Keaton is a good enough caliber of shooter to consistently hit shots in a stadium like this
