Its kinda like the OFMD finale. The two main characters ended up together in a cottage. LIKE WE WANTED. The writting could have been better but in the end we got what we wanted. So it confused me that ppl didnt like it at all.

fwiw, i still hold a lot of love for s2, since it’s what got me into the show in the first place. and i don’t think it’s necessarily a bad follow-up to s1. but if were to take gaiman at his word that s2 was the “bridge” between s1 and the sequel he and terry planned? uh

bottom line is keep it respectful, and if you can’t handle people arguing or disagreeing then block and move on. better for the mind and all that

but as annoying as some of these takes are i’ll never begrudge anyone for being sad or upset about the finale. bc i get it. ofmd s2 had me feeling genuinely murderous and the only thing that helped was venting and commiserating with other fans that agreed

@anjodomemo absolutely! and mind you az is the only one that has miracles between the two of them. crowleys protective, but he still knows that aziraphale can handle himself and that he had the situation well and truly under control

this is the one moment of the show that crow ACTUALLY asks for help from azi so it makes sense for C to not react because he knows that A can protect himself AND if C reacted at all brian WOULD react back and shoot his gun so???? what did you want C to do? get shot for no reason?

i do almost wish we got a shitty 90’s adaptation of good omens with like david bowie and robin williams or something. sorry im a nerd i love when a book has multiple screen adaptations and seeing how the time and context affects the narrative
