At #South4Care South Asia, high-level panels examined how governments, employers, workers and partners can advance decent work in the care economy, highlighting social dialogue, policy coordination, financing and partnerships for sustainable, gender-responsive care systems.

Unpaid care work keeps societies functioning, but at a cost to women. As populations age, care demands intensify, further limiting women’s workforce participation. Recognising + supporting care matters - for women’s choices & opportunities, family incomes, economic potential.
