If you want to sauce up your websites, this is for you. Today our dev team unveiled Lenis, a new smooth scroll library, at the @awwwardsconf in Amsterdam.

Who comes to Amsterdam during the Awwwards conference, we will host a party :) #againandagain

@terkelg Me too 🙂 for some reason it just feels great to minimise the amount of html Dom elements.

@CarlaHSands How long have you been here? The middle class can easily afford even two cars - many in the larger cities prefer biking, because it's faster and healthier. But they most often have a car in their garage for longer trips. Fake news...
English

I’ve seen this before. In Denmark, middle class people can’t afford to drive a car. They have a bike and take the train for long trips. My embassy driver would bike an hour in the snow to get to work. That’s the future team Biden wants for Americans. Is this what you want?

@martinsilvestre Yeah nice in the summer time. "Mols" near Aarhus has a bit of the same.

@clementroche_ Cool nice work. I've been using this approach on 5-10 sites over the last year - only good experiences so far :-) I usually disable it for touch screens though.
English

@iltp Here is a smooth scroll lib based on your idea. You were right, performances are much better and it keeps accessibility features.

@marco_terrinoni @greensock I haven't used the smooth scroller plugin yet. But it's probably great like everything else from Greensock :-)
English

@iltp Doesn't the new @greensock smooth scroller plugin use this approach with Native scrolling without fake delta Y? I use locomotive but the delta Y measurement is not 100% accurate all the time. Thanks for the tip on normalize-wheel!

@Jesper_Landberg Funny 😀 I think I still prefer PS, maybe just an old habit!
English

Don't think id accept a project with a design made in PS these days. Damn that shit is clunky as hell. #figmabros

@mrdoob You are one the most impactful developers I have ever met, the web wouldn't be what it is now without your contributions. You should be extremely proud of your career 🙂
English

@prismicio Hi, have you seen this error: community.prismic.io/t/possible-bug… I found a work-around using "after", but would be nice to have "page" working again.
