I've been up since 3 dealing with the baby - I decided to visualize the damage with @claudeai. Pretty happy with how this turned out; gonna add it to the fitness and health analytics tool.

I’ve been trying Copilot Tasks this week, and it’s awesome to assign tasks (even recurring) in this cowork mode and have them completed end to end autonomously and use Agent mode to refine and iterate on the outputs. A couple of examples ...

@LeviBrowde World would be so much safer without Chinese Communist party. I can't wait for Chinese people to finally have a democratic government and basic freedoms.

With Copilot Studio, we are focused on adding more choice and flexibility for anyone building custom agents. Great to add Grok 4.1 Fast to our multi-model lineup. microsoft.com/en-us/microsof…

Iranian women played a crucial role in overthrowing the Shah during the 1979 Revolution. Many joined the Communist Party Tudeh, marched in the streets, organized strikes, mobilized their families, and filled public spaces. After Khomeini’s victory, they received the opposite: mandatory hijab, the loss of family and divorce rights, legally enforced inequality, and violence for noncompliance. Many of the same communists who helped lead the revolution were later persecuted, imprisoned, and executed. Today’s American feminists aligned with radical woke movements and Islamist causes should pause and learn the history’s lessons.

Depth learning is the way to go ... opposite of social media where people scan things #depthlearning #learnai
Ruben Hassid@rubenhassid

Andrej Karpathy says you should learn AI depthwise, not breadthwise. Most education is breadthwise: watch lectures, memorize formulas, and trust you'll need it later. Karpathy flips this by learning "depthwise, on demand." What this means: Pick a project, start building, and learn exactly when you hit a wall. When he created a tutorial on transformers (the architecture behind ChatGPT), he didn't start by explaining attention mechanisms or complex architectures. Instead, he started with the simplest possible thing: a lookup table that predicts the next word. You build that first. Then you try to make it handle more complex patterns. And it breaks. Only then, when you've felt the limitation, does he introduce the next concept. Each piece solves a problem you've actually encountered. As he puts it: "It's a dick move to present the solution before I give you a shot to try it yourself." When you attempt the problem first, the solution actually makes sense. Teaching forces you to learn. "If I don't really understand something, I can't explain it." When you try to explain and stumble, you've found the gaps in your understanding. ... Build a project that gives you a reward. Hit a wall. Learn just enough to solve it. Then explain it to someone else. Don't consume content. Build the code. That's how you actually learn.

China is massively lying about their population. It is not 1.4 billion people. It may be as low at 600 million. In 1950 the population of China was estimated at 530 to 540 million, when the CCP took control. It requires a fertility rate of 3.3 to triple the population in 50 years. In 1959 the great famine in China resulted in an estimated 30 million deaths. From 1979 to 2015 China had a one child policy. Mathematically, there is simply no way for the population to have grown from 540 million to 1.4 billion between 1950 and 2020. China is rapidly aging due to the one child policy which was too successful. China has a long history of publishing fake economic data. There is zero reason to assume their official population data is accurate.
