I think his toned down lust is perfect for LA as it can get a bit jarring in the manga, but I feel the other Straw Hats have more unique traits to them. I still like Sanji in LA and obviously it's not going to be the exact same as the manga, just something I noticed when watching

Sanji talking about his past is a VERY big stray from his character in the manga. Usually if his past gets brought up he brushes it aside. I do feel Sanji has by far the biggest change and him lacking some character traits from the manga makes him feel just like a regular guy

One last thing, I'm a huge fan of the little references they throw in that only people up to date on the manga would understand. These things only add to the world-building and as someone who knows the payoff I think it's really satisfying to see this stuff implemented this early

Finished the One Piece live action last night. Quick thoughts: - Usopp had great character development compared to S1 - the unluckies fight might've been the best bit of the series - the Little Garden song is mental if you've caught up with the manga - Chopper's heavy point 💀
