the cool part is when you realise that such a guide will only be watched by people who spend too much time vod reviewing as it is, thus enabling them to further avoid doing the one thing that will actually help them improve (playing the fucking game)

@_Ren97 maybe those players will get better once they're older, but that will require a lot of introspection on their part. some of the players I've played with for a long time have picked up a few things via deep and meaningful conversations, but never through gameplay or team comms

@_Ren97 (isn't it great that we have cooler in the game to just make everything worse?) you aren't going to hold a fuckin seminar in the plus server and teach people how not to feed. some people already know; the rest just don't have their brains wired the right way.

@_Ren97 like if this whole guide making thing was as simple as "striking the right balance", I'd have published the ones I wrote years ago and we'd not be in this situation instead I've spent the last seven years slowly curling into a ball and screaming ever louder into the void

@_Ren97 you're not grasping how dire this dilemma is striking a balance is impossible for most players. the game is too shallow; the technical side of the game is too significant, and requires too much playtime to maintain (let alone improve at).

@PestoCooler @_Ren97 splatoon 3 is, anyway and its mechanics aren't that intricate. at least with the way the game's parameters are set up. we're playing a game with arena shooter movement and call of duty kill times. it's a complete mess.

@PestoCooler the structure is what the community wanted it to be. it's not the problem, it's a symptom. splatoon is a videogame. people want to have fun. it stops being fun when you lose, or when you don't feel like you can play the way you want.

@MMOToaster_ I'm genuinely glad for you and everyone else who enjoys the game, and believe me I've tried to enjoy it for what it is

nice, they made all those changes we were asking for about a year ago. at this rate we'll finally be playing the game splatoon 3 was meant to be in 2027, a mere 10 years after splatoon 2 was released!

@alphab93 jp players have been complaining about wall for almost the whole game, and as we all know, they're the only community that exists

loving what I'm seeing from the trailer. all the changes and additions look great! I think the devs have a tough task catering to everyone (especially in a community this vocal) but I'm happy with everything I saw for sure. the future of final fantasy 14 looks bright
