There’s a jump scare in OBSESSION that even though you can feel it coming, still manages to blast you out of your seat. A testament to the flawless precision timing Barker employs throughout the movie. Elite level stuff.

Funny enough I don't talk about lighting and mood during reviews of horror movies or just in general which is the dumbell thing I've done. I need to talk about how freaking incredible the atmosphere and lighting is in Obsession. If you have a scene where all you can see is eyes then that's damn effective for a horror film.

Go see it in theaters, screw the digital version.

Everyone praising Inde Navarrette for all the crazy stuff she does in obsession but for me some of her best moments were when we would get those glimpses of the real Nikki trapped behind the version of nikki under the wish that’s the real horror to me it made me so upset !!!
