Today, we remember and reflect on the horrific 1994 genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda. We honour the victims, survivors, and everyone whose lives were changed forever by the atrocities and commit to building a better world where such horrors are never forgotten or repeated.

President Kagame and First Lady Jeannette Kagame laid a wreath and observed a moment of silence in commemoration of the 32nd National Heroes Day, honoring Rwandans whose lives exemplified bravery and patriotism.

Today, Minister of State @yves_Iradukunda engaged Rwandan diaspora professionals and ecosystem partners in a roundtable dialogue on Rwanda’s national digital economy priorities. The discussion focused on Rwanda’s long-term development frameworks, including Vision 2050, NST2, and the SSP, and explored how diaspora expertise, investment, and networks can support the implementation of ongoing and planned digital economy initiatives.
