Things I like about Louis Robitaille
- He wanted his players to learn the importance of sexual consent
- He embraced and supported Eve Gascon becoming the 3rd female goaltender to play in the QMJHL. On top of that, he was EXCITED to have her play for the Gatineau Olympiques

During my almost eight years at Social Security, I had the pleasure of servicing many from the International Institute. From experience, I can say they do amazing work. I'm so glad they are making sure they are able to stick to their core values. Even if it means no federal help.

Karl Ravech had been with ESPN since 1993. David Lloyd had been with ESPN since 1997. Stephania Bell had been with ESPN since 2007. They all apparently found out they were fired on social media and/or by a reporter calling for confirmation before being told by ESPN. Brutal.

2.8M is laughable for Jet Greaves. It should be much higher. Feels like Greaves and club are pushing a higher settlement.
I also think he deserves 7.5M
Since joining the org in 2021, Greaves has been dependable and consistent. A hard worker who is always improving.

Each side leans toward an extreme version of what they believe is appropriate, as a way to draw the arbitrator's "mid-range" finding either lower (club) or higher (player).
If #CBJ Jet Greaves reaches arbitration, look for a finding between $4.5M and $5.5M on a 1-year deal.

The arbitrator is tasked with finding the appropriate salary in the middle, not picking either the club's "ask" or the player's.

$7.5 million for one year is high but he has performed well everywhere he has been. I feel like they should lock him up long term and give him the bag. @imaraindancer any thoughts ?
