Is it humanly possible to read 200 pages in a single day?

I really put in the work for that first class, not easy at all but I gave it everything. I'm sure it would be straight A’s with maybe one B in Civil (evil)Litigation, but it is what it is. At the end of the day, a lawyer is a lawyer and the robe fits regardless. Get in Joor!🎉

@hannahepoch @_edbrella You’re allowed to to take care of your hair and you don’t need anybody’s permission for it even if it comes to wearing a bonnet

@_edbrella I black lady once told me I was allowed to, and that hair care is important, so now I don't know who to listen to.

@UYScuti_10 Exactly, same as me. I take these things in moderation and rarely consume somethings but I also understand that may not be the case for certain persons who are unable to cook for themselves or control what is in their food like students in certain schools.

@UYScuti_10 I’ll disagree a little, consumption of seed/vege oils has been linked to be a cause of inflammation. Although you’re right, if it’s not consumed in excess but you do know a lot of Nigerians cook in large quantity of oil & many times they use seed oils & palm oil is good oil tho

@imayoola There is nothing wrong with vegetable oil You are not drinking it like water, it's not everyday you fry, you also use palm oil sometimes to cook. Stew or sauce or ata din din sef na little quantity of epo and ororo People should stop the lies and misinformation

@tomisin_ms Jeeez you’re right! I tried making mashed potatoes 2 years ago, it tasted horrible. I blamed it on the garlic powder I added and didn’t even think the margarine or ‘spread’ I used could have been the issue

This butter/spread discourse just made me realise the reason my mashed potatoes and every recipe that calls for butter never really comes out right is because I keep using spread instead of actual butter 😩

My shyness has this exception where if someone is as shy as i am or even more, i suddenly develop another personality that's extremely extroverted just to save the other person.

@vibezghod Here, but as with everything else there should be a balance. Complaining/ranting can have positive effects but studies also show the existence of negative effects to chronic complaining. There are several studies on this if you need more information you can look it up

Respectfully no lol. Personally I had no one to complain to in law school, didn’t rant anywhere and it ate me up seriously. I was burnt out and felt miserable everyday I couldn’t let it out. If ‘complaining/ranting’ would help relieve their tension in any way they should do so.
J.P🐐@vibezghod

“Stop complaining just act” If you’re in the Nigerian Law school like me, do this and thank me later. Not every discomfort should be voiced, not every fatigue should be expressed. Complaining corrupts your mind. Just act! There is no other way.

To put it in perspective: a $100M loss won’t cripple them financially, but it could be catastrophic for you. You also don’t know the motives behind every investment decision they make. Use their moves for inspiration, but always conduct your own due diligence.

Foundational Nupe Lawyer
10 signs of a bad and poorly trained lawyers: 1. They do not take hints from the courts or opposing counsel. They believe they know it all. 2. They focus on technicalities more than substantive case on its merit. 3. Using delay tactics to frustrate the opposing party and their counsel. 4. They use rude, disrespectful and condescending words on their colleague’s in their letters, processes and arguments in court. 5. Unnecessarily verbose and use big words to express simple submissions. 6. Always unprepared and applying for adjournments just to delay the cases. 7. In transactions, they look for the mistakes of the other side and throw them under the bus just to prove they are smarter and better. 8. They deliberately mislead the court or public on positions of law, even when they know that their positions are untenable and not grounded in law, logic and jurisprudence. 9. No respect for fellow lawyers, judges and members of the public who do not agree with their submissions. 10. Rather than critic opinions of judges and fellow lawyers they subject them to personal attacks and bully them for public acceptance.
