Jio is scamming us. I have an extra number that I rarely use. My active plan was ₹189. I needed unlimited internet for one day, so I recharged with the ₹49 data add-on, which has a one-day validity. I had 1.02 GB left Then 751 MB left Then 81 MB left Instead of using the 25 GB from the add-on, Jio used my regular plan data and exhausted it. They’re scamming users by consuming regular plan data first, so we end up having to recharge again if needed, while the add-on expires the next day. Then we’re left with no data even for basic searches. Don’t think this is a small matter. Imagine this happening on a large scale. TRAI must already be aware of all this.

Galgotias fiasco is a joke for many and a tragedy for some. There is one girl I know who enrolled in BTech CSE at Galgotias University, her father is a farmer. She withdrew from the course yesterday. Her first year’s fees will not be refunded. She said Galgotias has turned into a meme not just in India but across the world, and she doesn’t want to carry the tag of graduating from a “meme college” in the future. She believes that reputed companies will now think twice before hiring Galgotias students, and that one mistake by the university staff has damaged the careers of many students. She also mentioned that some of her friends are planning to leave Galgotias University as well. This is very very sad for young students of Galgotias.
