Day 34 of 100 of sketching every day: Honda eating cake for his (and my) Birthday. The idea was from a server friend/member, and it was the right idea for sure! This piece took me roughly an hour and 15 minutes to do and was a little complex with the shading and such but it was worth the effort. Day 33 of 100 of sketching every day: I *did* avoid using the outline marker for this one, and the reason being is because it turned out really good and also because the floof this pony has would be a bit hard for a beginner to outline properly, so I figured it was best to let it be. This is a server members OC and he's a cutie! The crazy part? He only took me 45 minutes in total.. I must be getting more efficient or something, very cool!! The shading absolutely makes a difference..

as i said before, i went too overboard with my artwork and i feel like im pressuring too much myself too early at the start so thats why im gonna draw one part of a pony first, so i can master the anatomy

@imcuber Hot take here: The designs. Not only that but how the plots are driven through the whole hour of movie. Every single member of the cast always gets a moment to shine without getting driven off from the main plot. Truly a masterpiece

that way, i won't have to rely too much on just referring drawings on the long term and draw from my own memory

im gonna take a break for a day or 2 from drawing digitally, ive been pushing over my limits lately and its mentally tiring me out and im going to focus on a specific body part first (headshots) before i move on to other body parts
