It's heartbreaking to hear that the reported cause of death was not suicide or depression, but excessive alcohol consumption that led to him collapsing.
We rightly grieve those lost to suicide and advocate for mental health, but we must also acknowledge the silent lives being lost to alcohol and drug abuse. Too many young people with bright futures are being consumed by addiction before they ever reach their full potential.
Alcohol abuse is not harmless. It destroys health, families, dreams, and lives.
Let's stop normalising alcohol abuse and start taking it seriously.🕊️
