@FFMikeKash I definitely agree with that role for him. I also forget too often that a lot of people are talking about these guys from a fantasy perspective, in which case yeah I probably wouldn’t touch Bell with a ten ft pole lmao. Just too volatile of a profile to hitch yourself to.

@imnickmansour Legette is just the latest in a long line of big/fast/raw WRs who haven’t lived up to the hype I’m not dismissing his talents, I just don’t think his talent is actually breaking tackles, think he could be a fun sacrificial X with some mixed in crossers

Yeah I def agree the ACL tear will make it tougher and hear you on the routes. It’s probably not realistic for me to say all he has to do is improve his zone feel bc many WRs fail to ever do that. Maybe his best path to real value will be as an actual X who’s asked to beat press on a limited route tree downfield. But that’s obviously a volatile way to win for a young player. I do think Legette has cast a big cloud over this archetype of receiver and I’m not sure what to do with that. And again I’m not big on Bell to begin with but it’s hard for me to dismiss his natural talents.

@imnickmansour He was fed the ball on routes that are supposed to be good for YAC and found ways to get tackled or drop the ball It’s extremely unlikely he becomes better at it going from Louisville and recovering from an ACL tear to the NFL

@gamscout Well if you look at every Hall of Famer, how many of them ran in the 4.3s? A pretty low percentage. And even fewer did it while being 6’2+. Honestly amazing that Calvin Johnson was able to be as good as he was even though he was 6’5 and ran a 4.35.
