@LisaAtThePort @OneNerdyOpinion Oh that’s so hard! My mom is in early stages of dementia but she’s in a care home in Japan. I go see her every few months and even that is hard. Being a caregiver is so many degrees harder. I’m glad you’re finding yourself back in the books! And thanks for the book tip!

@imorikmits @OneNerdyOpinion Oh yeah. After being a caretaker to 4 immediate family members I was lost. Cancer sucks. My sister and I always discussed the book and laughed at my dingbat sister in law who had a totally different comprehension!!! I have missed it. This is the book that helped me bigtime.

@LisaAtThePort @OneNerdyOpinion I went through the same thing when my dad died. He was a huge reader and we used to discuss what we’d been reading. It’s taken me quite a while but I’m back to reading voraciously again. Grief is a funny thing, isn’t it?

@OneNerdyOpinion I was always a big reader. Everyone in my family was. I quit reading anything after my sister passed. Recently someone suggested a book about grief. I literally inhaled every word. After many years I have a library to catch up with.

Dingy is a ~2.5 year old spayed female who enjoys running around very fast, playing with toys, and generally being kind of weird. She has big eyes and is one of the cutest cats I've ever seen. Why is she still here?!

Wonton's bloodline continues to take years off of my life due to stress. We have been trying to catch her brother Oliver (formerly Bao) for 2 weeks and finally, he was trapped last night and is back home with his poor sleep deprived family
