Hitters - when you're working with a coach, don't be afraid to talk your way through things with them. The best way to be able to help you, is if they know what you're thinking. If you come across a coach who doesn't accept that, they're probably not good at what they do...

Many are called. Few are chosen. More than 1200 players were selected in this year’s @MLBDraft. Only a small percentage of those will even sniff the Big Leagues. Those few chosen, even after they’ve made it, they’ll still work like they haven’t... which is why they’ll stay.

During slumps, there’s a big difference between panic (when players lose trust in their ability and want to change everything) and sense of urgency (where players take a greater sense of purpose to their preparation). Great players have a great sense of urgency... WITHOUT panic.

On any given day from now until the end of September, there will be as many as 15 @MLB games being played. Every single one of those games will offer countless ways for YOU to get better as a player or coach. The question is... are you taking advantage? Watch. Learn. Grow.
