The hospital is bustling. Wooshin could’ve taken him into a nicer, more quiet one, but emergency called. He's outside of the room talking to the doctor, his voice might be heard faintly from inside. A nurse peeks her head to see into @impaseuto’s room to check his situation.

@vainnesse + informing me that I must be brought here after I lose my consciousness. But why? I could've just been asleep on my bed and be better the next morning. Eh, hospital? Ah—it's bad. It woke me up immediately.

@vainnesse "I see," as if anyone would buy that stupid excuse. "How was the kalguksu? Didn't they drop the price to 50% off today?" Of course I made it up, there's no way a 'stall' would ever give a half price in this area.

@impaseuto That’s a hard one. Not a hard question, but hard to answer in a way that he doesn’t face his own feeling and get into that strange vulnerable state. “Because there’s a good kalguksu stall near here. Your place just happens to be close to it.”

@vainnesse Why is he always so curious anyway? Is he studying me? ".... No," I glance away avoiding his eyes. I didn't say I was going to explain the reason behind it, and it was a rhetorical question. It should be enough.

@impaseuto The jest was amicably accepted. Wooshin scoffs at his assumption. “As if,” he says. “Nobody other actually cares about Hajun like that.” His 𝘦𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘰𝘺𝘦𝘳 is dying anyways. “I was simply curious, it’s personal.”

@vainnesse Good question, he knows nothing about me so that's probably what has been in his mind. Why would I do this for money? Oh.. well, seeing how I live my life, it does seem like that. "Is this interview recorded so you could report it to your employer?"

@impaseuto He couldn’t— no, he 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴𝘯'𝘵 answer to that. The hand gets to work again, gentle and careful work. The bruise is fresher than he thought, so he puts in even more caution than before. Not that he lets it show, though. “You do this for the money?”
