This sewage pumping station in London is a sight to behold. 🤩 Opened #OnThisDay in 1865 by Joseph Bazalgette, Crossness Pumping Station is a masterpiece of Victorian engineering. It was part of Bazalgette’s sewage system, which contributed to eradicating cholera in the city.
