On a day with attention on the future of our country, it was an absolute privilege and pleasure to spend time with c40 colleagues on #NyeBevan cohort 27 who are the future of our NHS. Was challenged by their questions and encouraged by their incredible spirit. #futureNHS

During our visit to @LeedsHospitals today, @KathyMcLean13, @NHSImprovement colleagues, and @NHSEngland colleagues, walked through the prostate cancer pathway, including the radiotherapy department which treats a staggering 350 patients every day. #TheLeedsWay

increasing waiting times for treatment poses a greater risk to the future of the NHS than all the stories about privatisation not only does it increase patients suffering but it increased demand for private health ins which undermines the basic NHS settlement with the population
