🔥Resident Evil Requiem producer Masachika Kawata has explained which elements of the series Capcom has no intention of changing. In an interview with Japanese outlet Nikkei, Kawata said that when developing new entries, the team always tries to find a balance between fresh ideas and the elements that make Resident Evil such a recognizable franchise for fans. According to the producer, the key question behind any change is whether it makes the game more interesting and whether players will accept it. At the same time, some core parts of the series remain untouchable for Capcom. 🔹“The most important thing is whether it’s interesting as a game and whether fans will accept those changes. The survival horror elements are the core of Biohazard, and that is something we are not going to change.” Kawata also noted that players’ reactions to the story and its development are extremely important to Capcom. According to him, the audience’s interest in the lore and characters directly motivates the entire development team to keep pushing the series forward. 🔹“Many players are especially interested in where the scenario and story will go.
