@sumbre2 @sharkbitee_ @QingDiamond @positionshour A fan base of queer people?
You realize how retarded that sounds?
English

@sharkbitee_ @QingDiamond @positionshour She’s making music with a known racist and expect her fan base of girls and queer people to like that

ChatGPT says that logically there is a higher power.
I just spent the past couple of hours discussing philosophy with ChatGPT and ended off with this Q:
What is true? You keep saying “in my worldview” this or that, but I’m not coming to these arguments based on a previous worldview, I am coming to these arguments with logic.
So I suppose I’m asking two questions
1 if you take my argument all the way to the end, and you argue it out and hammer down every point, ultimately does it remain true?
2 if my argument remains true, is there any other opinion that can stand true until the end?

@GaymerPACU_RN I love the books. Best series I’ve ever read, but I don’t like the show.

Why does the USA not have high-speed railways?
I was just in Italy for a few days and toured the country. My trip ended in Venice and my flight was from Rome.
We had three options:
1.A bus to Rome — 7 to 8 hours. Really cheap (about $5), but long and tiring.
2.A flight — a little over an hour, but with security, boarding, etc., it adds up to about 2.5–3 hours total. It cost around $150.
3.A high-speed train — about 4 hours. A bit longer than flying if you count airport time, but way more comfortable. Business class was $100–150, economy around $80.
Business class was really comfortable, tons of room, plenty of space for luggage, way better than flying economy. (Imo)
I don’t understand why the USA doesn’t have high-speed trains.
If we were to build one from NYC to LA, ChatGPT says the trip would take about 15 hours. Driving takes around 40 hours (without sleeping or breaks). Flying takes 6 hours, a bit more if you include airport time.
So… why don’t we have this?
