Just found the very last of the original First Casualty tee-shirts as worn by me and the guys from the book. There were only fifty in existence... Mainly medium and large I think, but I'll be selling them as memorabilia if anyone's interested?

Something special arrived today. There are many myths, legends and tales from the Gallipoli campaign none more so than the “Missing Battalion”, the 1/5 Norfolks who attacked at Suvla on 12/8/1915. It was even suggested they disappeared into a cigar shaped cloud. More…..

6.5 million war medals were cast in silver, individually named and awarded to the men and women who fought in World War One. Sadly, due to families not remembering the recipient, these are now regularly turning up as scrap at bullion dealers. Managed to save these. #antiques

@history99917180 Just left that force , standard situation, probationers teaching probationers, acting SGTs everywhere, the truth is even if he would have been arrested for the assault and warrant he would have been out the next day anyway and nothing would have changed !

Don’t wanna be the 9am jury but, Pc on her 12th shift should never have been the OIC. Her tutor only had one years service when he became a tutor Pc. Fuck me. Have we stopped doing local & national checks of all suspects? Where’s the weekly crime review by the skipper?

A rookie PC has apologised after she admitted making a series of blunders which left a future triple killer free to strike. Libbie-Mae Taylor was only 12 shifts into her job with Leics Police when she was called to the scene of a warehouse assault. dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1…

111 years ago, the battle of neauve-chapelle, William Buckingham was awarded the Victoria cross, William lived at the time in my home village of Countesthorpe, the image of him with children is at the cottage homes in the village
