I helped with the Japanese translation for Oeuf (a new game by increpare) You are an egg and try to get back home. Its a bit hard, but there's a sense of achievement when reaching a checkpoint :)

(Also maybe it needs a bit more organicness to the interface rather than clean SVGs - I don't need to Tom-Sennett-max the tool, but the original version of this had hand-drawn icons and that was nice)

@joeistootired It's possible the bottleneck for you was graphics, which maybe could be worked around, but it might also have been physics, which I can't really 'optimize' without changing the feel of the game. It's tricky!

@joeistootired Thanks for letting me know. It's hard to optimize for hardware I don't have access to or don't know about (especially when certain performance optimizations might make the game run worse in other ways (like taking longer to load) ). I did several rounds of optimisation already.

update: following careful planning, the transformation begins (the idea is to tweak gui elements so that they work on both desktop/mobile(without making the former worse), so that the difference between mobile and desktop should be, as much as possible, a difference in layout

it was so carefully honed for desktop that it will necessarily be *slightly* worse on desktop, but I have some ideas for improvements, so fingers crossed it'll be a net positive for desktop users as well :)
