Instead of announcing you got an offer from a college try this…this comes off so much better
“Thank you to all the coaches at (college) especially (HC) for talking with me and showing me all the facilities! I really enjoyed my time at (college) Thank you for the experience.”
Do you want to hit in college? You MUST be able to hit a 90 mph fastball.
You all are feasting on sub 84 mph pitching, having great statistical seasons but when you get higher velo you struggle. You’re not college material. Stats don’t make you a college prospect, your skills do
PSA to HS baseball players. Post an announcement when you make a commitment. Not when you get an offer. It’s really bad form. Gives optics of shopping your offer. And whoever offered you ain’t gonna like it!
Just saw a clip of a kid hitting a HR in a pool play game throwing his bat 40 feet in the air (at bare minimum) and then walked the entire way to first base.
Maybe I’m just old school, maybe not. I can’t believe what some people are promoting in youth baseball.
Speechless.
Our coaching staff saw close to 30 HS games this weekend. One thing we all agreed was missing: passion.
Not fake, clout chasing, show up the opponent stuff. Genuine passion. Dudes that love to play the game and play it hard.
Want to get on our radar? Show us you love the game.
One of my players just told me he gets lessons from his high school baseball coach, yes he pays his high school coach to give him lessons @FHSAA how on earth is this allowed? I’m sickened by this abuse of power and borderline extortion.
