India is a secular country & everyone has the right to practice his religion without harming or affecting the rights/activities of any other person illegally. A two or 3 hours programme isn't an encroachment.

@Benarasiyaa Common areas should not be used to celebrate festivals, because in the end every community will want to use that space for celebrations. Monday it will be Diwali, Tuesday Christmas, Wednesday Eid, etc etc. The space then becomes reserved for festivals.
