@MysteRI858 @andrean_rip @Poomeister2 From what we have seen, while she did have a bad attitude and fould mouth, pre-Matis Syuen is not exactly that bad. As Maxwell put it "She is fighting as a human against the monster". Syuen then is decent enough not to lure Rapture to the Ark, or abuse Wardress.

@MysteRI858 @andrean_rip @Poomeister2 Would she? After the inauguration incident, there is already a rift between the two and deep down Syuen distrust Maxwell. Would she really believe in Maxwell words? Or would she throw a fit and drive Maxwell even further away herself and go over the edge?

Without any major spoilers for the ending of part 2 of Matis event, In my opinion Syuen is arguably the most infuriating character in Nikke. Why? Because she never takes responsibility for anything bad, always finding someone else to blame for bad choices she makes. She sometimes admits to being involved, but she always tries to justify it by making it someone else's fault. (Minor spoiler) The most notable in this event is when Jien gives Syuen a certain choice, Syuen makes a decision, yet somehow the consequences of that decision are all Jien's fault. Jien at least owns her part to play in certain events and doesn't make excuses, Syuen doesn't It's frustrating to see someone find fault in everyone but themselves. But that's exactly what makes Syuen so well written in the role she's in. Syuen is very similar to Liveryn in this regard.

@0nyxTheWolf @Rockhornn @Poomeister2 Which is very interesting because this is the new type of reaction to being a Nikke for us. Maxwell is not Nikkephobic. She is just against being turned into a Nikke. When forced to become one, she "chose" to become a new person, despite having full memory to hurt her loved one.

@indiopug @Rockhornn @Poomeister2 Maxwells writing it the end was beautiful as well. She completely resolved to be a forever living reminder of syuens mistakes. She is clearly the same person, but has resolved to not be as such until syuen earns it. Which is why she lets slip some of old maxwell in the end. ❤️

@Reuani @Rockhornn @Poomeister2 I think Maxwell know it very well. That's why she stayed with Syuen for such a long time. Which is also why she decided to resign in the first place. Syuen need a strong wake up call, strong enough to shock her and make her reconsider her approach

@indiopug @Rockhornn @Poomeister2 Syuen was afraid of abandonment and I don’t think Maxwell ever realized it until the end, which is kinda crazy because she should’ve thought about how Syuen is alone. She couldn’t honor the final wish but I think it was all a loaded situation created by Jien who knew she couldn’t

@Rockhornn @Poomeister2 Different circumstances so you can't really expect the same result. Only One at least listened to Levi's plea to stop fighting. Syuen couldn't even honour Maxwell wish. But again, different children, different situations

@andrean_rip @Poomeister2 And parental figure indicates that they took the role out of love and care, not exactly a responsiblity like an official guardian. In that case, is it the fault of Maxwell giving enough love? Or she tried what she believed is the best but not enough.

@andrean_rip @Poomeister2 In additiont to the external pressure to Syuen, if Maxwell tried to reach out to her, to correct her but Syuen refuse to take in the advise, is it really fair to lay the blame on the parental figure that is Maxwell

@Rockhornn @Poomeister2 She said that much herself. If Syuen showed just even a small sign that though she resorted to the same method as the monsters, she is aware of it inside she is still fighting as a human, Maxwell would have stay with Syuen and keeping her from going deeper.

@Rockhornn @Poomeister2 It is the how she get to that decision and how she feels about it afterward that frustrate Maxwell. If killing was the final solution, if she feel even a bit guilt about taking a life or admit responsiblity instead of dodging it, Maxwell would have put up with it.

Now you see the last memories of Maxwell. Either it stuck to her brain or NIMPH transfer it to new Maxwell, shaping her to uphold the idea.

@StormNato14 The Commander is tied to Project A.D, which was started by the Ark's Commander in Chief tho. To be precise, i think that yes, Andersen is the prototype but he is the a result of Mechanical Messiah. Project A.D is just an expansion on the human aspect of Mechanical Messiah.

@indiopug I think Anderson was more of a prototype version that didn’t fully succeed and it wasn’t until the commander is born/created that the project was a success. The commander is the mechanical messiah imo. The queen is connected to it with the queen gene in some way for sure.

Now that most people have finished part 1. This comment by Enme really implies that humanity had a chance to end the queen but decided not to for some reason before the war started. I wonder what that reason would’ve been🤔

@Psychohuh @Poomeister2 Before chapter 34, you know how it is. Neon and Anis are the "lesser"fighters in the team which mean it is always safe to be able to brought them back. Them being seperated for the entire Levi pursuit arc does not help in bringing up that plot point.

@Psychohuh @Poomeister2 To be fair, they had just have truly reunited for 2.5 chapter, of which the main concern is fighting Sixo and T.TStar so it is understandable that it is not brought up. Perhaps when they reach Eden and the story progress to the big event of Anni 4, this topic will be brought up

One thing I want to know more about in Nikke lore is NIMPH. Its one of the big mysteries in Nikke. Who created it and why its so flawed etc So far the one character who has explained the most about it is Cecil. A former MMR researcher who fled coz shes so smart they wanted to use her brain and turn it into an AI. Then there is Jien who expresses a great interest in learning more about it. Something she was willing to stop pursuing being Missilis CEO to learn more about it in MMR. It helps that the two most attractive humans are the ones to talk the most about it. I'm an eager student when they start explaining things

@StormNato14 Also there is the fact that Nayuta, former member of DEEP, admitted that they deliberately design the two Ultra Massive Core so that if one dies, the other follows. UMC being "designed" by DEEP and VTC open the gate to so many implications.
