Appears the tear gas was deployed near the Huntsville Museum of Art in Big Spring Park. Not an expert on tear gas but it was enough to carry several hundred yards across Church Street.

Huntsville police deployed what seemed like a heavy dose of tear gas in the main portion of Big Spring Park near the Von Braun Center. Tear gas carried east across Church Street to where media were staged. Smoke so thick the AC Marriott on the other side of the park was obscured
