President Trump is frustrated because the Israelis sold him the pipe dream that arming the Kurds & other Iranian dissidents would quickly topple the Iranian regime, leading to a quick victory. Israel has always understood that they can't topple the Iranian regime without us doing the majority of the fighting, they needed to get us into the war. The Israelis kept their goal in mind when feeding us "intel" about Iran. Unfortunately, President Trump's inner circle failed to keep Israel's main goal in mind when receiving Israeli "intel" and providing context to the President.

There is no alternative but to accept the rights of the Iranian people as laid out in the 14-point proposal. Any other approach will be completely inconclusive; nothing but one failure after another. The longer they drag their feet, the more American taxpayers will pay for it.

Trump should snatch the victory now by declaring victory & bringing our troops home. If we stay, we extend Iran’s ability to turn this into a quagmire. Keeping the blockade or resuming the war gives Iran the ability to physically bleed us in the region & politically bleed us at home. Iran wins by us staying in this war. If we leave, Iran will be under pressure regionally & globally to open the Strait of Hormuz, we can use sanctions relief as our leverage to get them to do so & make concessions on enrichment. There are no military solutions, the current diplomatic solutions aren’t working so Trump should reset the game by pulling out, depriving Iran of leverage (the ability to hit our troops) & using unconventional tools to reopen the SOH.
